NumFOCUS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports and promotes world-class, innovative, open source scientific software.
As the main designer for NumFOCUS, I was in charge of creating a wide array of graphic elements.
Below are the best examples of the work I created for this awesome organization.
Collateral Design
Annual reports can be used to highlight a nonprofit’s mission and impact, thank volunteers and supporters
and make a case for donating to the organization.
I worked with the Director of Communication and the Executive director of NumFOCUS on this project.
NumFOCUS was happy to have an annual report the explains to people what good work they are doing while compelling readers to get involved.
Shirt Design
PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other.
I was commissioned to create these shirts for their PyData New York and PyData London conferences.
The PyData New York shirt plays on the popular subway environmental graphics in New York.
I illustrated the famous London bridge for the PyData London shirt.
