In my album art design projects, I focus on creating visually captivating and conceptually rich artwork that enhances the music experience. Each design is tailored to reflect the unique identity and thematic essence of the album, offering a visual representation that resonates with both the artist's vision and the audience's expectations.
My approach involves a deep dive into the album's themes, lyrics, and mood to produce artwork that complements and elevates the musical content. From intricate illustrations to bold graphic designs, my goal is to craft album art that not only stands out on shelves and digital platforms but also adds an additional layer of depth to the listener’s experience.
For Tito's Handmade Vodka’s 11th Record Store Day sponsorship, I designed the cover for "The Westbound Sound, Volume 1," a compilation celebrating the influential Detroit label’s rich history in soul, R&B, rock, and funk. My design process involved blending Tito's branding with the compilation’s vibrant energy. By creating bold, dynamic visuals, I captured the essence of the music and aligned with both Tito's and Westbound Records’ aesthetics. The final cover reflects the spirited and eclectic nature of the record, honoring the tradition of Record Store Day.
DEVO is my favorite band of all time. I made these 7" album covers DEVO singles to celebrate their 45th anniversary as a band.
These album covers combine DEVO’s dada aesthetic with their sarcastic sense of humor.
